Frequenty Asked Questions
2. Is SSWIFT the same as "private accounts" which has been rejected by Congress?
SSWIFT is NOT a "Private Accounts" Program!
A "private accounts" program is intended to setup a private account in which a citizen can invest in marketable securities such as mutual funds, stocks and bonds.
The objection to "private accounts" is that it would be possible for the citizen to lose a great deal or all of his or her investment if the selection of investments were to decline in value. This is because all such investments trade each business day on American stock exchanges or foreign exchanges if the investments were in international securities. These investments are constantly subject to "market risk".
The Superior Preferred Stock is not traded or marketed in any form by SSWIFT so it is not subject to "market risk" like all other marketable securities.
